Reliable drive
I bought this drive when I had Windows 98. Iomega claims that it doesnt work with Windows ME or 2000, but after upgrading to 2000, it works perfectly, no special drivers needed. Apparantly, only the bundled software is incompatible with Windows 2000, but if like me you use Nero anyway, its great - use it on home PC and laptop trouble-free. The only problem is its 4-speed write rating, but I suppose its probably pushing USB to the limit.

my heart stoped when i saw how good it was
Ow my head still hurts from when it bumped the table as i fainted from the sheer speed and brilliance of this rewriter. As soon as i had started it had finished i thought i would be sitting there for hours but it was mear minuets. this is well worth the cash to anyone who is thinking of buying a cd rewriter. I only gave it four stars though because it dident come in red. chris pleass a very happy man

TWO THUMBS UP!!
If your looking for decent recordable cds then you cant go far wrong with these. I have been using these for about 3 years on several different CDRW drives, using Nero and Adaptec software and never had a problem once! I first brought these at £20 for ten 3 years ago and would have recommended them then. £7.99... Im going to have them all! You can write on the front of the disk in pen easy, plenty of space. Inlet cover can be turned over so you can write on it, again loads of room. Design might not be to everyones taste but the black backs look cool. Easily had copying speeds of 8x and most likely be cable of more. Take my advice, you wont go far wrong with these. All in all... TWO THUMBS UP!!
